7. 당뇨병 합병증
    당뇨병의 합병증은 급성합병증과 만성합병증이 있습니다.
    급성합병증은 그 시기를 잘 넘기면 휴유증 없이 정상생활을 할 수 있으나
    만성합병증은 한번 진행되면 다시 정상으로 돌아오기 힘들어 조기에 발견 조기관리하는 방법이
    최선입니다.
  1) 급성 합병증
     ⑴ 고혈당성 혼수
         ① 원 인 : 과식, 인슐린 부족, 감염증
         ② 증 상 : 처음에는 다뇨 현상이 있다가 심해지면 구토, 설사, 복통 등의 위장장애 까지
                       동반되어 탈수로 인해 혼수에 빠질 수 있습니다.
         ③ 치 료 : 수분 및 전해질 공급과 인슐린 투여를 해야 하며, 사망률이 높으므로 반드시 입원
                       치료해야 합니다.
     ⑵ 케톤산혈증
         ① 원 인 : 인슐린 결핍상태가 심하여 당분을 에너지원으로 사용 할 수 없게되면 저장된 지방질
                       을 분해하여 에너지를 얻게 됩니다. 이때 부산물로 생성된 케톤체가 혈중에 많아져
                       서 나타납니다.
         ② 증 상 : 체내의 액성이 산성으로 바뀌면서 호흡과 심박동이 빨라지며 급기야는 의식이 소실
                       되거나 사망할 수 있습니다.
         ③ 치 료 : 인슐린 투여와 함께 수분 및 전해질을 공급하고, 원인으로 작용한 유발인자의 치료
                       가 우선되어야 하므로 반드시 전문병원에 입원해야 합니다.
     ⑶ 저혈당
         저혈당이란 혈당이 정상 이하로 떨어지는 상태로 경구혈당강하제나 인슐린의 가장 흔한
         부작용입니다.
         저혈당 증상이 느껴지는 혈당 수치는 대체로 혈당이 50∼60 mg/dL 이하로 떨어졌을 때
         저혈당 증상이 나타나게 됩니다. 저혈당은 그 증상이 심한 경우 즉시 치료하지 않으면 경련
         무의식, 뇌손상을 유발하여 사망에 이를 수도 있습니다.
        ● 저혈당의 원인
            ① 식사량이 갑자기 줄었거나 식사시간이 지연되었을 경우,
                설사나 구토가 심한 경우, 과음을 했거나 빈속에 음주를 했을 경우
            ② 인슐린이나 경구용 혈당강하제를 많이 복용하였을 때
            ③ 운동량이 평소보다 늘었거나 공복상태에서 운동하였을 경우
             * 즉 음식 섭취량, 운동에 의한 포도당 소모량과 약물에 의한 상호작용에 의하여 일어남니다.
        ● 저혈당의 증상 : 공복감, 식은땀, 가슴이 두근거림, 떨림, 현기증, 흥분, 불안정, 두통, 피로감
                                  등이 나타날 수 있습니다.
        ● 저혈당의 치료: 하는 일 중단하고 휴식을 취합니다.
                                 응급상황이 아니면 저혈당인지 확인하는 것이 좋습니다.
            응급처치 - 의식이 있을 경우는 각설탕 2-3개나 쥬스 1/2잔을 섭취합니다.
                            의식이 없는 경우에는 응급실로 빨리 후송해야 합니다.
            * 비상용 당분을 항상 휴대하고 있는 것이 좋습니다.(특히 운동 시)
            .
         ● 당뇨병카드착용: 지갑에는 항상 다음과 같은 문구가 있는 당뇨병카드를 넣어두는게 좋습니
                                    다
            • 나는 당뇨병으로 매일 인슈린주사로 치료 중입니다.
            • 의식이 흐린 상태, 행동이 불안정한 상태로 발견되면 즉시 당분을 먹여 주시고
              (설탕물, 알사탕, 주스 사이다, 각설탕, 꿀물 등)
            • 의식을 잃어 입으로 먹을수 없을 경우에는 즉시 가까운 병원으로 가능한 빨리 옮겨주시기
               를 바랍니다.
            * 본인의 주머니나 지갑에 사탕이 준비되어 있습니다.
