다음 대상자 중 폴리오에 대한 면역력이 없는 사람 - 폴리오 유행지역을 여행하는 사람 - 폴리오 바이러스를 다루는 실험실 요원 - 폴리오 바이러스를 배출하는 환자와 밀접한 접촉을 하는 의료인 | |

❋ 폴리오 유행국가(2012년): 아프가니스탄, 파키스탄, 나이지리아, 차드
2. 접종용량 및 방법
① 0.5 mL를 3회(0, 4-8주, 2차 접종 후 6-12개월 경과) 삼각근 부위에
근육주사 또는 상완외측면에 피하주사(단시간 면역이 필요한 경우
각 4주 간격으로 접종가능)
❋ 40대 중반이후 성인의 경우 자연감염으로 인한 면역 획득으로
예방접종이 필요 없음
❋ 40대 이전 성인 중 과거 3회 이상 예방접종을 하고
10년이 경과하였다면 1회 추가 접종 고려 가능
3. 이상반응
① 국소반응: 주사부위의 발적, 경결, 압통
② 전신반응: 백신함유물질(streptomycin, polymyxin B, neomycin)에
알레르기 반응
4. 금기 및 주의사항
① 이전 접종 시 아나피락시스 반응을 보인 경우
② 임신부(단 폴리오 노출위험이 있을 때는 접종가능)
❋ 아나피락시스 반응: 항원-항체 면역 반응이 원인이 되어 발생하는
급격한 전신반응 으로 예를 들면 페니실린 쇼크 같을 것을 말합니다.
